Sept. 2015 Price:  SOLD!

Hummmm,

INTRODUCING...

JP INVEST IN GOLD

(now nicknamed:  JP DNA SHORTY)

Current Guestimate Breed:  Grade Quarter Horse

He was registered by the breeder as:

JP INVEST IN GOLD

2009 AQHA PALOMINO STALLION

AQHA# 5266009

Foaled:  May 10, 2009

* JP INVEST IN GOLD was gelded in May 2015

after two breeding seasons as a stallion!

***

NOTICE:  Well, I guess not all is as it was suposed to be here!

According to his DNA sample taken this spring 2012,

this palomino stallion does not match

either of the parents on the papers that came with him from the breeder!

He is apparently not JP INVEST IN GOLD!

Don't know who he is yet or if I can get the breeder to figure out who

his parents were.  Just finding out who his dam was from

the breeder would be a great starting place!

More info to come as AQHA and the breeder try to sort this mess out!

Which basically means I have to do research to try

and figure out who he is...ironic isn't it!

You'd think that the breeder could set the record straight!

This foal surely must have come out of some mare's hind end and

most likely nursed on some mare all spring & summer long!

The ironic thing is that the horse you see below appears to be the

horse pictured on the AQHA registration papers, under the name of

JP INVEST IN GOLD!

* Notice the 4 'nearly' black feet!!!  Very rare on a palomino!

An interesting mess!

You can bet it is my 1st and last purchase of a horse

from the breeder that raised JP INVEST IN GOLD!

I think that DNA testing for all such geldings from

this same place would be a wise thing for any buyer to do!

This is a grade red roan gelding was sold to Michelle

a few years ago.  His sire is Spooky Rip and

his dam was Snowflake II.  This gelding really

grew out nice and Michelle could not be happier

with him.  I still have old Spooky Rip, but no longer

have Snowflake II around.  Snowflake II does have one

gorgeous granddaughter in my broodmare band to pass

on her legacy named Frosty Cherry

She will be expecting her first foal

Spring 2014.

APHA Sorrel Overo Gelding

Sully obviously lives down in Arizona now!

Thank You Laura!

The Baxley family in Texas have really enjoyed

their grade 2002 quarter horse gelding named Cody,

sired by Spooky Rip

(still producing colts for me)

and out of Duskie,

who is one of my older reference mares now sold.

It just goes to show you that 'grade' does not mean

poor quality performance when you are looking

at my non-papered colts!

They have had many offers from buyers,

but bluntly decline to sell!

*July 14th, 2011:

Pablo now has a 2011 full sister,

palomino filly with no socks and tiny star,

that will be for sale fall 2011.

We can now personally prove up on this mare's foals

since my niece is now riding a fine 2009 full brother,

Pita (aka 'Tank' on the 2009 Colts page), to be pictured soon.

He is sweet and has proven to be easy to train and

so level headed, just like Pablo.

SOLD & standing as a stallion in Colorado!!

My pictures don't do him justice by now!

Quick Silver Spook - 2003 AQHA Gray Stallion

Dam:  Snowflake's Fancy - Grade Q.H. Brood Mare

Current Owner:  Chris Handle

From:  Salinas, CA

Chris' Email:  cjhandle@earthlink.net

THIS HORSE IS NOT FOR SALE!

This is what Chris had to say about this flashy gelding from

Broken Back Ranch Quarter Horses:

"I have got to say he is incredible!!  He began team roping

training last fall (2004) and is doing great.  That horse is such

a pleasure to own, he has the best personality.  He is more

like a dog.  He is waiting, ready to go everytime you see him.

He isn't spoiled at all, just well liked!"

See folks.....

the best ones don't always have to be registered!!

Moose

NOT FOR SALE!!

MOOSE - 1999 Blood Bay Grade Quarter Horse Gelding

Sire:  Ten Sleep Foxy Bar (see my Stallions page).

Dam:  Owned by the Wiechmann family of Ten Sleep.

Approx. Weight:  1,300 lbs.

Approx. Height:  15.3-16.1 Hands

Moose has turned out to be a good all around ranch gelding

that can sure cover a lot of ground with that smooth, long stride.

Ten Sleep Foxy Bar frequently produces this type of colt, crossed on

the big boned, rangy type of brood mares.  This gelding is the type

you want to keep young forever and the kind you can ride all day!

Contact his owner, Jason Wiechmann if you'd like to confirm my words of

praise about this horse or the type of colts that Ten Sleep Foxy Bar

can produce when crossed on a good proven mare!

Jason's email:  jwiechmann@hotmail.com
